Pressing Tool

This 62 HRC hard pressing tool is made of HSS. High Speed Cutting and Jig Grinding were applied in one set up on the RHP600 machine. The top surfaces were milled with a precision of +/- 5 µm. The steep side walls were machined by jig grinding with a precision of +/- 1,5 µm.

On the RXP500DS machine very short machining times may be achieved due to the special construction of the swivel and rotary axes of the machine (patent applied). This is the case for 2D and for 3D wing geometries.

Slitting Rollers

Extreme accuracy is of paramount importance when machining the cutting edges of hardened steel slitting rollers for paper or any other materials, as the cutting edges must have a constant width within micron range. Particular operational control capabilities are therefore imperative for machining of the slitting rollers.
