Many years of experience lead to a highly accurate tool clamping system based on the shrinking technology. Roeders was one of the first companies to use this technology. The shrink technology provides high clamping forces and concentricity compared to standard tool clamping systems with collets. In consequence HSC machining is more precise and reliable. Tool change is carried out ba a modern, inductive shriniking device with an integrated cooling station. The shrinking process takes less than 1 minute.
Roeders shrink holders are designed for higher shrinking temperatures, therefore
- clamping forces are higher
- the shrink holders do not wear
- the tools are not pushed in or out, even at high vibrations |

| HSC cutters for roughing |

| The optional vector control enables machining using extremely low speeds with high torque. This means that thread cutting, hole drilling and roughing work in abrasive steels can be carried out efficiently. |

| With air, standard in all machines, additionally spray device with oil-cutting spray available (patent applied). For a very precise measurement of the cutter in the laser a dry and oil-free surface is of high importance. With the spray device this surface quality of the cutter may safely be obtained before measurement. |
