High Speed Dental Cutting / Automation
Industrial proven and therewith extremely reliable technology has been adapted to and optimised for the special requirements of the dental production by Röders. In result the HSC machines RXD4 and RXD5 were developed, which are highly efficient, compact and flexible in automation. Drastic cost reductions are achieved due to the very short machining times and high precision.

The RXD5 has an integrated highly dynamic rotary swivel unit for simultaneous 5-axis machining. The RXD4 is equipped with a cost efficient 180° swivel axis as fourth axis for machining the raw blocks from two sides. Both machines use a special gripper for directly clamping the raw blocks and therewith they are very easy to automate.

The modern and wear-free direct drive technology (linear motors) guarantees for longevity and very low service costs.

For the automation depending on the requirements many different solutions are available, integrated small changers, external changers with high capacity or even multi machine automation.

Automatic detachment of the dental works from the raw block by cutting through the fixation bars in the machine is feasible as high end industrial solution, thus separating the dental works into separate cups. Additionally the utilisation of the material is optimised, so that considerably more dental units may be produced out of one raw block!
